Ferragamo Black Friday Sale 2013

If you're a Salvatore Ferragamo fan, I highly recommend you check out their Black Friday Outlet sale as soon as possible. The Ferragamo outlet stores always start their BF sales at least a week (or more) before Black Friday so their sale has already started. There is nothing better than shopping Black Friday deals in peace, without the insane crowds or the food coma from Thanksgiving dinner. Plus, items are less likely to be sold out before the holiday rush!

I was only able to grab a few pictures but I'm hoping to get some more next week. Some of their handbags were an additional 40% off their already reduced prices and their shoes, which are their specialty, were as low as $160-230, down from their retail value of $450+.

They had dozens of shoes reduced including their highly coveted Varina flats, Vara pumps and low heels, Talia platform heels, sandals, and so much more. Most of the shoes were in the low $200 range but I didn't have time to check all of them - sorry! They easily had over 40 pairs as part of their sale so definitely plenty to choose from.

Both pictures only show a small sample of their sale items. My favorite handbags were definitely the Soft W Satchel in the upper right corner and the Mini shoulder bag that sort of looks like a combination of these two bags here and here. Bloomingdales currently has the Soft W Satchel  at $1,690 but at the Ferragamo outlet, they are $1099.

I ended up picking up the 'Casper' moccasin loafer
for my mom as an early Christmas present but will probably go back for some Varas. These shoes were normally $305 at the outlet store, down from their retail price of $495, but ended up being $242 during the Black Friday sale.  I considered these a 'steal' considering that the lowest price I've ever seen Ferragmo moccasins was for $350 and my mom's size wasn't even available at the time.

Also, a helpful tip: if they don't have your size or color in the store, they can mail it to you from another store. They do charge $15 for shipping but its through Fedex and you get a tracking number e-mailed to you. They also accept phone orders so even if you're unable to make it out to the store, you can still order whatever you like.

Here is a list of all the Ferragamo outlet stores in the U.S.

If you plan on going to the Desert Hills outlet in Cabazon on Black Friday, I wish you luck! It's definitely worth the drive but their crowds are unparallel to any other location in Southern California. I did score a Prada Saffiano wallet for $230 down from $450 but thats a story for another day.

If you're new to Ferragamo, I highly recommend you check them out. It's a very sophisticated brand so you really can't go wrong with themAlso, the outlet stores have a very good selection of wallets, handbags, shoes, scarves, and other accessories - even headbands so even if its a bit of a drive, I personally think its worth it.

Happy hunting!
